The island of Elba has more than 100 beaches with the most varied characteristics. Large sandy beaches, coves with small smooth pebble bottoms, beaches where the sand shines because it is mixed with iron ore. Many are partly equipped with establishments, rentals, bars and restaurants, some are completely free.
Porto Azzurro has two small beaches: La Rossa and La Pianotta, ideal for those who do not want to move. La Rossa is located at the entrance to the village and is managed by the municipality, which provides deckchairs and umbrellas free of charge. La Pianotta is located at the end of the promenade, near our hotel after the marina and is completely free.

Barbarossa Beach
The beach is 2 km from the hotel, 160 metres long with a sandy bottom. It is located behind Porto Azzurro and has a small restaurant-bar, a diving centre and windsurf hire. Small car park. It can be reached on foot or by bicycle from the Passeggiata Carmignani behind the hotel.
Reale Beach
It is located after Barbarossa beach, 3 km from the hotel, and is 110 metres long with a gravel bottom. It has a two restaurant-bar, boat and windsurf hire, and parking facilities. Continuing on foot or by bicycle on the left side, you arrive at the small lake of Terranera separated from the sea by a small isthmus and a meeting point for mineral enthusiasts.
Lido di Capoliveri Beach
The beach is approx. 4 km from Porto Azzurro and is 400 metres long with a sandy bottom. It has bathing establishments, restaurants, bars, car parks and sea-related activities.
Felciaio Beach
The beach is 4.5 km from the hotel and is 110 metres long with a sandy bottom. Next to the Lido beach, it is a very beautiful beach with an artificial bend of rocks that creates a small bay. Restaurant, bar, beach umbrella and deckchair hire. The car park, which is subject to a charge, is 230 metres away, then continue on foot along a scenic path.
Naregno Beach
Opposite Porto Azzurro, the beach is 4 km from the hotel, is 500 metres long and has a sandy bottom. It has bathing establishments, restaurants, bars, car parks and sea-related activities. The Forte Focardo area can be reached on foot from here.
Barabarca Beach
The beach is 5 km from the hotel and is 150 metres long with a pebble and sand bottom. Beach with bar service and hire of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. Parking, free or for a fee, is 150 metres away. Next to it is Zuccale beach with the same characteristics.
